Hyderabad: Police caught 480 persons during drunken driving checks on Saturday night. The caught vehicles are 371 two-wheelers, 19 three-wheelers, 85 four-wheelers and five heavy vehicle drivers.
In the checking 82 people were caught by the Miyapur police, Jeedimetla police – 54, Shamshabad – 44, Rajendranagar – 40 and Shadnagar and Gachibowli – 38 each.
Age-wise, 180, is between 21 years and 30 years, followed by 177 aged between 31 years and -40 years. Among those caught, 19 people had a BAC level above 301 mg/100 ml.
