Harish Rao demands State Govt to release all pending DAs

Hyderabad: BRS MLA T Harish Rao demanded Congress department to release of all pending DAs and a clear policy for employee welfare.

Harish Rao pointed out that while the Congress promised to release three out of five pending DAs immediately after coming to power, it took 18 months to take decision for release of just one.

He also ridiculed the Cabinet announcing decision of releasing funds for loan insurance and accident insurance cheques to women members of Self Help Groups (SHGs).

He reminded that state government gave the same cheques twice – first in Warangal in November 2024, then again in Hyderabad in March 2025. “Now they talk about taking a Cabinet decision? Were the earlier cheques just photo ops?” he questioned.
