Hyderabad: In eight-year journey, 16 lakh users were registered in T Wallet and Rs 34,991 crore transactions Integrated across Telangana’s service points.
T Wallet was launched on June 1, 2017, it was India’s first State-managed digital wallet.
T Wallet is also integrated with MeeSeva’s over 4,500 centers and about 11,000 Fair Price Shops, ensuring accessibility in remote and rural areas.
It extends 1,242 services covering 74 departments.
Its flagship Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) feature allows direct bank account transfers, setting it apart from traditional wallets that rely on peer-to-peer transactions or UPI, and offering round the clock availability for seamless banking integration.
People are using T Wallet for utility bill payments, service fee payments, and merchant transactions. Many utility bill payment services, people have used T-Wallet predominantly for making TGSPDCL, TGNPDCL, E-Challan payments.
