Hyderabad: Several locations in Telangana witnessed single-digit minimum temperatures in the early hours of Sunday and Saturday night. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)- Hyderabad on Sunday issued a cold wave alert for Telangana till December 24.
The lowest temperatures (in degree celsius) recorded in Hyderabad are, Serilingampally, Hyderabad Central University (8.3), Rajendranagar (9), Moula Ali (9.1), Alwal (10.3), Gachibowli (10.4), Qutbullapur (10.8), Gajularamaram (10.8), Trimulgherry and West MArredpally (11.3).
Districts in Telangana also witnessed severe cold wave. Sangareddy recording 5 degree C followed by Vikarabad (7), Asifabad (7.2), Adialabad (7.6), Medak (7.9), Kamareddy (7.9), Rangareddy (8.1) and Nizamabad 8.6 degree Celsius.
