Indian Armed Forces destroys Pakistan’s air defence radars and systems in a calibrated military response

Operation ‘Sindoor’ resulted in the destruction of nine terrorist hideouts but highlighted ongoing tensions, as Pakistan intensified shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) into Indian areas. Indian forces repelled an attempted attack by the Pakistani army on Wednesday night.

In retaliation, India struck 15 cities in Pakistan today, targeting air defense systems, including a significant strike in Lahore. Launched in response to the recent killing of 26 tourists in Pahalgam, ‘Operation Sindoor’ employed Hammer and Scalp missiles, hitting terrorist camps linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In retaliation, Pakistan’s shelling has led to the tragic deaths of sixteen Indians, including women and children. Despite India’s successful defense against Pakistani attacks, heavy artillery use continues from Pakistan.

India’s Ministry of Defence reported successful thwarting of drone strikes and affirmed commitment to de-escalation if Pakistan complies.
