Kumbh Mela and importance of Akhara from the Mughal period

Generally, the words ‘wing’ and ‘wrestling’ appear in front of our eyes when we hear the word ‘Akhara’. But in Aquarius there are monasteries of saints and saints. There is also an assertion, but the reason behind this is the fight of religious supremacy.
The royal bath of these akhara are taken out, in which chariot, elephant-horse decoration, gambling, the activities of the sadhus and even the sword and the gun are displayed.
But first of all, let us tell you very briefly that what happens to Kumbh, how many types and where is held.

When did the Kumbh Mela start and who started it…

There is no authentic information available in the modern texts of history. But the oldest written description of this is available at the time of Harshavardhana, which was written by Chinese famous Hesensang of China.
For centuries, no invitation is required to gather on this festival, and people themselves gather on millions of crores and on the Kumbh festival at Prayag at Sangam beach.

The difference between Aquarius, Semi Kumbh and Simhastha….

What is Aquarius: Kalash is called Kumbh. Aquarius means the pitcher. This festival is associated with the nectar urns that came out during the ocean manthan. When the Deity-Asura had been snatching the nectar kalash from one another, some droplets of it fell into three rivers of the earth. Whereas when these droplets fell, then Kumbha is organized at that place. The names of those three rivers are: Ganga, Godavari and Kshipra.
What is Semi Kumbha: Semi means half. In Haridwar and Prayag, half Kumbha is organized between two Kumbh festivals in intervals of six years. In the mythological texts, astrological analysis is available for organizing the Aquarius and Semi Aquarius. Kumbha Parva starts with Haridwar at every interval of 3 years. After Haridwar, Kumbha festival is celebrated in Prayag Nashik and Ujjain. There is a difference of 3 years between the Kumbha festival, which is celebrated in Prayag and Haridwar and the Kumbh festival celebrated in Prayag and Nashik. Here is an annual function organized on the Magh Mela Sangam.

What is Simhastha: Simhastha belongs to Leo. On the entry of Sun in Jupiter and Aries in Leo, Kumbha is organized in Ujjain. Apart from this, Kumbha Parva is organized in Nashik on the banks of Godavari, when Jupiter is entered in Leo. It is also called Mahakumbh, because this yoga comes only after 12 years. Due to this Kumbh, this assumption became popular that the Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years, while it is not correct.
The akharas can be called the monastery of Hinduism in a way. Initially, there were only four major areas, but due to ideological differences, they were divided, and today there are 13 major aqueduct. Aquarius is only for the akhadas. The main reason for organizing Kumbha was spiritual and religious discussions.

Akhara presents the disciples in their respective traditions and gives them degrees. In the Kumbha, Amalgoses reach virtue, while the sadhus claim that they come to purify the Ganga

History of the Akhara

It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya had established akhara for centuries to prevent the growing propagation of Buddhism centuries ago. It is said that those who did not believe in the scriptures, they were celebrated with arms. But there is no historical evidence available that Adi Shankaracharya had started the aqueduct. The life of Adishankaracharya was in the eighth and ninth century, there are many types of stories and claims about the establishment of the akhara, but it is difficult to say something strictly.
Some major Akhara are Atal Akhara,Nirmohi Akhara,Niranjani Akhara,Vaishnava Akhara and Fairy and Kinnar Akhara.

The most recent Akharas include the female monks of the fairy goddess and transporter’s sheer arena. It was recognized in the Kumbh fair in Prayag in Prayag in 2013, whereas this is the first Kumbh Mela for Kinnar Akhara.

Kalavavas

The biggest feature of the Kumbh fair of Allahabad, ie Prayagraj, is Kalpavas. Millions of people come from all over the country to connect with this Kalpvas, who teach funds from life management and time management.

First description of Aquarius in Mughal period

It is important that the tradition of Ardhakumbh and Kalpavas is only in Prayag and Haridwar. According to the historians, the first description of the Kumbh Mela is found in the book published in 1665 of the Mughal period. Some historians term this fact as disputed, they consider the Kumbh Mela as centuries old by citing Puranas and Vedas.

However, historians also believe that in the nineteenth century, when the religious leaders found in twelve years, they should be gathered once in the middle, then the foundation of the tradition of semi-Aquarius on the six years was laid.
