RPF officials nabbed two persons for smuggling marijuana

Hyderabad: Railway Protection Force (RPF) nabbed two persons for drug peddling at the Secunderabad railway station on Friday and seized over 57 kg of marijuana worth Rs 28.5 lakh from them.

The arrested persons are Sushant Kumar Swain (23), a private employee from Odisha and Karan Iyappan Shetty (26), a cab driver from Maharashtra. The absconding suspect is Jeevan alias Ajay from Mumbai and native of Odisha.

According to the officials , the three persons are smuggling drugs in trains and plans to supply to Dadar in Mumbai.

On specific information police nabbed the persons and seized drugs from them. Further investigation is in process.
