Panchkula to host first edition of “Neeraj Chopra Classic”on May 24

The inaugural ‘Neeraj Chopra Classic’ will be held on May 24 in Panchkula, Haryana, as confirmed by World Athletics. This Gold Category event is crucial for athletes aiming to qualify for the World Championships, attracting top international javelin throwers.The competition will occur at Tau Devi Lal Stadium.

Neeraj Chopra, the current World Champion, will commence his 2025 season at the Doha Diamond League in Qatar on May 16, a week prior to the NC Classic. Neeraj recently secured gold at the 2024 Federation Cup.
