Hyderabad: Police and Excise department personnel raided the houses of BRS leaders houses at private villa community in Raidurgam. During the raids, Police arrested 20 BRS leaders.
BRS workers who gathered on the spot opposed the police’s highhanded behavior, leading to heated arguments.
BRS leaders alleged that police enter the villas of BRS leaders and their relatives without search warrants. When the police were asked for a search warrant, they produced it subsequently, allowing them to search the house in the presence of an advocate and a team of BRS leaders.
