16-yr old Syed Mohammed Hussain Makes India Proud by Winning 1st Place at ISKU International Karate Cup!

New Delhi, 1 January: India is a nation with an incredible array of talent, and Syed Mohammed Hussain is the perfect example of it. Representing India in the Age 16–22 60 kg weight category, Hussain demonstrated exceptional prowess and clinched the coveted 1st Place in the Kumite Event-Elite at the ISKU International Karate Cup held in Gujrat on the 30th and 31st of December, 2017. This prestigious event saw participation from 15 countries, and it was Hussain, an accomplished international medalist, who led India’s charge, culminating in a resounding victory in the men’s competition.

Hussain’s incredible achievement marks a momentous occasion for the nation as well as for himself. It is a dream come true for Hussain’s father, who has been encouraging him to pursue his passion for karate since childhood. In order to make this dream a reality, he put in six months of relentless dedication and rigorous training under the guidance of his coaches, especially Iftquar. His hard work and dedication paid off as he secured the second gold medal for India at the International Championship, distinguishing himself as the top male karateka and adding a golden finish to the nation’s phenomenal run in the International Championships.

Hussain’s victory is an inspiration to all aspiring karatekas out there. It demonstrates that hard work pays off and can lead to great accomplishments. His triumph holds special significance as it fulfills a dream cherished by Hussain’s father. His previous international gold medal further reinforces his commitment to the sport and is another example of excellence from this top-notch karateka.
