Amaravathi: In a shocking incident, Pilli Sitaramaiah, a resident of Thokalapudi village in West Godavari district, returned to his buffalo’s shed to find it injured and tied with ropes on July 3rd. Upon calling the veterinary doctor, it was discovered that the animal had been tied down and brutally raped.
The doctor administered injections for four days, but advised against continuing as it may affect the buffalo’s milk production. Suspecting the involvement of individuals who had been consuming alcohol and drugs near the shed, Sitaramaiah has filed a complaint with the police.
The police have conducted a medical examination of the buffalo and have assured that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty of such a heinous crime.
This incident has caused outrage and highlights the need for stricter laws to protect innocent animals from such atrocities.
