One hostage, Israeli soldier Ori Megidish, was freed by Israeli forces on October 30 during a ground invasion. Sadly, the bodies of two hostages, including 19-year-old soldier Noa Marciano, were recovered by the Israeli military earlier this month in Gaza City.

The hostages were a diverse group of people from all over the world, who unfortunately found themselves in a dangerous and terrifying situation.
