Police busted pharmaceutical drug racket in Nalgonda

Hyderabad: Nalgonda police and Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) busted pharmaceutical drug racket on Monday. The police seized Spasm0- Proxyvon – 2400 tablets, Tramadol – 345, two mobiles and a motorcycle.

Based on the tip, the EAGLE teams and Nalgonda police, in coordination with the Drug Control Administration, caught one Mohd Zabiulla (35), a resident of Nalgonda district, while he was transporting the narcotic tablets on his bike to deliver to customers.

Zabiulla was buying the tablets without any valid prescriptions from a medical shop owner, Daram Krishna Sai of Mahbubabad. Zabiulla was purchasing the opioid based drugs for a long time and selling to people who include youth and working individuals.

The police identified 10 consumers and apprehended three of them, while efforts are on to nab the remaining. Police registered case further investigation is in process.
