Muslim women played Holi and sent a message of unity to the entire country in Kashi

Lucknow: The Muslim women of Kashi, Baba Vishwanath’s hometown, have spread the message of cultural exchange through the gulal of love. At Subhash Bhawan Lamhi, Muslim women in Varanasi greeted Holi by blowing gulals of love. On the occasion of Holi, Muslim Mahila Foundation and Vishal Bharat Sansthan jointly organised a programme called “Holi of Muslim Women” at Subhash Bhawan of Inre Yash Nagar, Lamhi.
The gulls flying through the air to the beats of the dholak and the songs of Holi gave a glimpse of India’s shared culture.
Although Muslim women wore the niqab, they painted each other for social harmony. These women hugged each other and spread the message of eradicating religious and caste distinctions and uniting them in a bond of love.
Muslim women laughed, smeared gulal on each other’s faces, and spread the fragrance of love with rose petals, sending a message of unity to the world. Muslim women included Lord Shri Ram, Lord Shri Krishna, and Kashi Vishwanath in their Holi songs, which began on the beat of the dhol.
