ADG Bhagwat Commemorates Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji’s Birth Anniversary at DGP Office

Hyderabad: Mahesh M. Bhagwat IPS, Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) participated in the birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji held at the DGP Office on Friday. ADG garlanded the portrait of the esteemed freedom fighter and paid tribute to his significant contributions to the nation and the state of Telangana.

ADG Mahesh M. Bhagwat spoke about the pivotal role played by Bapuji in various movements that shaped the course of Indian history. He highlighted Bapuji’s active participation in the Quit India Movement of 1942, his leadership during the Mulki Movement in 1952, and his instrumental role in the 1969 Telangana movement. He praised Bapuji’s commitment to the cause of Telangana throughout his life, leaving behind a legacy of steadfast service and advocacy for the rights of the people.

The event was attended by other dignitaries, who joined ADG  Mahesh M. Bhagwat in honouring the legacy of Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji, who is widely remembered for his significant contributions to the freedom struggle and his tireless efforts towards the upliftment of marginalized communities.
