Assembly Elections:Campaigning for Haryana and Maharashtra ends today

The campaigning for the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana will end on Saturday evening.

Prominent leaders of all political parties are making their last efforts to woo voters.

Maharashtra will have a total of 288 elections. According to the size of the electorate, Wardha is the smallest impregnation and Panvel is the largest. Of the 3,237 candidates in the race, there are a total of 235 women candidates.

Bahujan Samaj Party is fielding maximum. There are 262 candidates in the state, while 1400 independents are also contesting.

Elections will be held in 90 constituencies in Haryana. Narnaul is the smallest and Badshahpur is the largest consistory in the state in terms of voters size. A total of 1169 candidates are in the fray, of which 104 are women.

Polling in Haryana and Maharashtra, by-elections for two Lok Sabha constituencies and 51 assembly seats will be held on Monday. The counting of votes will be done on October 24.
