I&B Ministry refutes Pak’s false propaganda

Pakistan’s propaganda efforts have intensified in reaction to India’s ‘Operation Sindoor,’ launching a disinformation campaign. The Indian government dismissed these false claims as desperate attempts to divert attention, with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting emphasizing that the Indian Armed Forces executed a precise operation.

Pakistan-backed social media and political figures spread fake narratives, including fabricated military victories. Fact-checking by PIB revealed misleading images, such as one claiming an Indian Rafale was shot down, which were unrelated incidents.

A false video suggested the Indian army surrendered, a claim echoed by Pakistani minister Atta Ullah Tarar. Additional disinformation about the Pakistan Air Force targeting Srinagar and destroying Indian military infrastructure was also debunked, revealing a coordinated effort to mislead the public and distort reality.
