Game On: India’s First-Ever Pavilion at GDC Makes History

The first-ever India pavilion has been inaugurated at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, marking a significant milestone in the bilateral relationship between India and the US. The launch event also saw the release of the ‘India Gaming Market Report’, which predicts a steady growth of the Indian gaming market from USD 3.1 billion in 2023 to USD 6 billion in 2028.

The pavilion, organized in collaboration with the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum, aims to foster collaboration between the two nations in terms of investment, innovation, and content in the gaming industry.

Mukesh Aghi, president and CEO of USISPF, expressed his belief that this partnership will fuel the next wave of gaming excellence and strengthen the ties between India and the US. The inauguration of the India pavilion reflects a new dimension in the Indo-US relationship and highlights the potential of the Indian gaming market.
