Imphal: Manipur Police are conducting extensive raids and searches in sensitive and inaccessible regions throughout the state’s districts. In the operation, 98 people were detained for violating various sections of the law. Police announced today that the circulation of 280 cars carrying basic supplies on National Highway No. 2 was assured.
Strict security measures have been implemented at all sensitive locations to ensure the free and safe movement of vehicles. Security forces have been deployed on a large scale in sensitive locations.
Police said that 101 check posts and checkpoints have been set up in various districts of Manipur in both hill and valley.
