Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, proudly expressed his admiration for the armed forces on X with the message, “Proud of our Armed Forces. Jai Hind!”
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge echoed these sentiments, commending the armed forces for their courage in targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. He reiterated the Indian National Congress’s steadfast support for the armed forces since the Pahalgam Terror Attack, emphasizing a strong national policy against cross-border terrorism and the importance of national unity.
Kharge stated, “India has an unflinching national policy against all forms of terrorism emanating from Pakistan and PoK,” and applauded the armed forces for their resolve.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and RJD leader also voiced strong support for the military, with Yadav proclaiming, “Parakramo Vijayete,” highlighting India’s intolerance for terrorism and separatism.
AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi praised recent surgical strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan, insisting on significant repercussions for the Pakistani deep state. He pushed for dismantling Pakistan’s terror infrastructure, emphasizing a united stand alongside the Indian Army in combating terrorism. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the operations were in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam attack.
