Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised Operation ‘Sindoor’ against Pakistan, highlighting the bravery of Indian armed forces in dismantling terrorist camps. He acknowledged this as a source of national pride and affirmed India’s readiness to defend its sovereignty.
At a national quality conference, he reiterated India’s commitment to resolving conflicts through dialogue and underscored that tolerance should not be misused. Singh assured citizens of India’s steadfastness in protecting sovereignty, with a responsible defense approach. He emphasized the growing importance of the defense industrial sector, encouraging the use of technologies like AI for quality monitoring in defense manufacturing.
Additionally, he announced defense exports exceeding 24,000 crores for 2024-25, aiming for 50,000 crores by 2029 under the ‘Brand India’ initiative.
