Taking Stand Against Student Suicides: Telangana Mahila Commission Issues Notice to Narayana Colleges

Hyderabad:  The Telangana Mahila Commission has taken a serious stance on the issue of students’ suicides in Narayana Colleges located in Bachupally and Mallampet.

In response to the alarming number of suicides among students, the commission has issued a notice to the colleges, demanding a detailed explanation for the incidents.

The commission has expressed deep concern over the mental health and well-being of students and their academic pressure. It has urged the colleges to take necessary measures to provide a safe and supportive environment for students, ensuring their physical and mental health. The notice serves as a reminder to educational institutions to prioritize the welfare of their students above academic achievements and take necessary steps to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future.

The Mahila Commission’s actions highlight the need for a more holistic approach towards education, where students’ emotional and mental well-being are given equal importance as their academic growth.
