PM Modi hosts U.S. Vice President JD Vance and family;reviews progress in bilateral relations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, who was accompanied by Second Lady Mrs. Usha Vance, their children, and U.S. Administration officials. Modi reminisced about his February visit to Washington D.C. and his discussions with President Trump, which set a roadmap for enhanced India-U.S. cooperation, emphasizing “Make America Great Again” and “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

The leaders reviewed the progress in bilateral cooperation and welcomed developments in negotiations for a beneficial India-U.S. Bilateral Trade Agreement focused on the welfare of both nations. They also discussed regional and global issues, advocating for dialogue and diplomacy.

Modi extended best wishes to the Vance family and conveyed warm greetings to President Trump, anticipating his visit to India later this year.
