US market continued to rise, Asian markets showed mixed trend

New Delhi: Despite the fears of a global recession, once again the global cues remain good today. US markets closed strongly in the last trading session. On the other hand, in the Asian markets too, except the Shanghai Composite Index, Heng Seng Index and Taiwan market, the trend remains generally strong. It is believed that due to the news of better results coming from the US corporate sector, there has been a rise in the US market, which has a positive effect on other markets around the world as well.

In the last trading session, the US market remained bullish for the second consecutive day. Dow futures also remained bullish. At the same time, during the spot trading in Dow Jones, a rise of 337 points was recorded. Similarly, the Nasdaq recorded a gain of 96 points, while the S&P 500 index closed at 3,719 points, up 1.14 percent. During the trading session, there was also profit-booking pressure in Nasdaq, due to which the index closed below the upper level.

The effect of the rise in the US market is clearly visible on the Asian markets as well. Barring a few stock markets, most of the major stock markets in Asia have remained bullish. Today SGX Nifty has gained 21.35 points. At the same time, the Nikkei index is seen trading at a level of 27,353.87 points with a gain of about 0.73 percent. Similarly, the Strait Times Index has also gained 0.52 percent for the time being. Apart from this, the Kospi index is also trading with a gain of 0.41 percent.

At present, this index is trading at the level of 3,069.67 points.

According to market experts, the US market has got a lot of support due to the better results of the companies. Goldman Sachs and Netflix’s financial results have come in better than expected. Similarly, Lockheed Martin has delivered excellent financial results. Earlier, Bank of America’s financial results also came in better than expected
