Modi’s Sole Focus: Serving India – A Private Conversation with Putin

Moscow: During a private engagement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin that his sole purpose is to serve the people of India. President Putin acknowledged the Prime Minister’s dedication to serving his country and its people, stating that it is evident in all aspects of his life.

In response, PM Modi reiterated his commitment to India and its citizens, saying that he has only one goal – to work for the betterment of India and its people.

The two leaders met at President Putin’s official residence at Novo-Ogaryovo, where they discussed various issues in a comfortable and informal setting. President Putin congratulated PM Modi on his third term as Prime Minister and praised his efforts in leading India to become the third-largest economy in the world. He also noted that India has the highest number of births per year, which reflects the confidence and security felt by its people. Both leaders expressed their mutual respect and friendship, setting the tone for their official discussions the following day.
