Hyderabad: BJP Rajya Sabha Member K Laxman made allegations against Congress government on farmers suicide. He alleged that farmers in the State around 1000 committed suicide after Congress came to power.
Speaking to the media, Laxman stated that as Congress failed to implement promises made to the farming community many of them were now facing financial problems.
Laxman pointed out that, government had almost stopped the Rythu Bandhu scheme and Rythu Bharosa programme, causing huge loss to the farmers.
