KTR welcomes SC directives for wildlife, tree protection in Kancha Gachibowli land

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao welcomes the Supreme Court’s directions to restore the forest in Kancha Gachibowli and to ensure the protection of wildlife in the area.

KTR thanked the students and faculty of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) who stood up for the voiceless trees and wildlife, the former Minister credited them for their relentless efforts to protect the 400-acre forest.

He also thanked all citizens who raised their voice for Hyderabad’s green cover. He also welcomed the Supreme Court-appointed Central Empowered Committee’s (CEC) report, which noted possible financial fraud in mortgaging the Kancha Gachibowli land to a private party.
