Urea Shortage: Farmers protest across Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana state farmers staged protest in many districts including Jogulamba Gadwal, Rajanna Sircilla, Warangal and Mahabubabad. The protest was triggered by the unavailability of urea.

During the protest, the farmers participated in dharnas and blocked roads in multiple places.

BRS leader Hanumanthu Naidu joined the protest and  said no such shortages were experienced during the BRS government. Naidu warned of larger protests if the government did not address the issue promptly.

Moreover, BRS leader Chalmeda Laxminarsimha Rao accused the Congress government of poor planning, warning of intensified protests if the situation persisted.
