Hyderabad: For the upcoming Ganesh festival, GHMC is making elaborate arrangements and deployed 25,000 workers to manage the festivities in three shifts.
Moreover, this year GHMC is planning to distribute 2 lakh eco-friendly clay Ganesh idols to the citizens in Greater Hyderabad. Clay pots made with C&D waste and clay lamps were also distributed.
The GHMC commissioner, R V Karnan and Mayor Gadwala Vijayalakshmi formally launched the distribution by handing over eco-friendly idols for to the civic body employees.
