Farmers queue up for urea in Gadwal district

Hyderabad: Farmers in Jogulamba Gadwal district gathered at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) office in the town, for urea on Thursday.

Farmers continued to wait in long queues for urea from as early as 5 am. Despite enduring long hours in the rain, farmers complained that urea was not being supplied due to inadequate stocks.

Even before the PACS office was opened, farmers had lined up outside. Anticipating unrest, the district administration deployed police personnel at the premises.
