Hyderabad: A book on leadership and personal journeys, Worlds Apart: A True Story of Courage, Connection, and Change by global leadership strategist Ed Cohen and co-author Devi Boddu, was launched in Hyderabad as part of a leadership interaction programme organised by iKeva.
The launch was held during iKeva’s leadership initiative aimed at bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders for discussions on leadership and organisational growth.
Ed Cohen, who has worked in leadership roles across global organisations during his four-decade career, is known for his work on organisational culture and professional relationship building. He has previously been associated with companies including Amazon, Booz Allen Hamilton and Tech Mahindra, besides advisory roles with consulting and technology firms.
Speaking on the occasion, iKeva Board Member Archana Naidu said the platform was intended to encourage exchange of ideas and learning among professionals and entrepreneurs. She said the organisation focuses on building professional communities where experience sharing becomes part of leadership growth.
Cohen, who joined the programme virtually, said he valued his association with the professional community connected to the initiative and appreciated the opportunity to present the book in India.
The book narrates parallel life journeys of the two authors, highlighting how different social and economic backgrounds shaped their experiences before their professional paths intersected through shared values and work.
According to the authors, the narrative highlights themes of perseverance, education and the role of mentorship in shaping individual growth. The book also reflects on how opportunities and support systems can influence career development.
The event was attended by members of the business and startup ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and founders associated with the iKeva network.
