Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar has recorded special songs as part of programmes linked to the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
According to party sources, the songs were recorded as part of commemorative activities connected to the organisation’s 100-year milestone. Short promotional clips of the recordings are currently being circulated on social media platforms.
The full versions are expected to be released in Karimnagar during Ram Navami programmes, sources said.
Bandi Sanjay, who has had a long association with the RSS before entering electoral politics, reportedly participated in the initiative as part of the centenary outreach activities being organised in different parts of the country.
Supporters of the BJP leader shared the clips online and welcomed his participation in the programme.
The RSS, founded in 1925 by K.B. Hedgewar, completed 100 years recently and has been organising events and outreach activities as part of the milestone year.
Over the decades, the organisation has expanded its presence through various social and cultural activities. The BJP is generally regarded as politically aligned with the ideological framework associated with the RSS.
Political observers say such cultural programmes are often used by organisations to connect with supporters during milestone anniversaries.
