Another case against Azam for the inflammatory speech

Former minister and Rampur parliamentary constituency, Azam Khan, SP candidate of SP-BSP-RLD combine, has been caught in the matter of giving provocative speeches and violation of code of conduct.


After investigation on the complaint of Congress leader Faisal Khan, a case has been registered against Azam Khan in Kotwali under Section 505 (1) (B), 505 (2) and 125 Public Representation Act.

Congress Vice-Chancellor Faisal Khan Lala, in collaboration with DM and SP on Monday, had complained that Samajwadi Party’s candidate Mohammad Aamam Khan from the Rampur Lok Sabha has been trying to provoke the public against the district administration by giving a stirring and provocative speech. .

As a proof, he also sent a video clip of Azam Khan’s address to the SP office on March 29, 2019. In the video, some officials, posted in Azam Khan district, are commenting that they have been sent to spoil Rampur’s atmosphere.
 
Azam Khan has also commented on the deployment of these officers in the past. Based on the complaint of Faisal, the District Magistrate had directed for legal opinion in this matter.

After getting legal opinion, a case has been registered against Azam Khan on Tuesday. Apart from this, the police is also preparing for charging a charge sheet in the court in the cases filed before Azam Khan.
