Hyderabad: Allu Arjun, a well-known actor in the Telugu film industry, was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad, Telangana.
He had been arrested and sent to jail for a 14-day remand after being accused of cheating and forgery in a land deal.
However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. This news came as a relief to Arjun’s fans and colleagues in the industry who had been eagerly waiting for his release.
The actor was seen leaving the jail premises with a smile on his face, accompanied by his family and friends. The case against him is still ongoing and he will have to appear in court for further proceedings.
However, for now, Arjun can enjoy his freedom and focus on clearing his name from the allegations made against him.
