Hyderabad: A woman gave birth on a road near a hospital in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, after the hospital allegedly refused her admission.
As per the video released by several media, some women are seen assisting a pregnant woman who is screaming in pain. They held bedsheets over her as she gave birth with the assistance of a man in front of Tirupati Maternity Hospital on Tuesday.
The locals accused the hospital of medical malpractice, alleging that the pregnant woman was denied admission due to a lack of attendants.
Local residents have also demanded that hospital personnel be prosecuted. The hospital administration has yet to respond to the accusations.
