Bharat Sevashram Sangha distributes cloths to the poor in order to spread warmth

Hyderabad: With the festive season setting in the city, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad undertook philanthropic activities on Sunday at the Hanuman Mandir of the Sangha, Domalguda.

Members of the group organised a cloth distribution program for the poor on October 23, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and Kali Puja celebration in the presence of Swami Munishwaranandaji Maharaj and Swamy Venkateshwaranandaji Maharaj.

During the programme, Swami Munishwaranandaji Maharaj of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad said that like every year, this year also Bharat Sevashram Sangha is trying to serve the downtrodden and the poor. Swami Munishwaranandaji Maharaj, also mentioned that the Sangha is always a step forward in organizing relief efforts in the aftermath of natural disasters such as floods, epidemics, famine, and earthquakes.

Following the ideology of its great founder Shivavatar Swami Shri Pranavanandaji Maharaj, the Hyderabad branch of Bharatsevashram Sangha, whose motto is “service to humanity,” was involved in the distribution of clothes (Shirts and Pants) among the poor in various slums of Hyderabad City.

The Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a non-sectarian, non-communal, non-political spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers dedicated to the service of humanity. The illustrious patriot Saint Yugacharya Sreemat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj founded it in 1917.
