Chhattisgarh elections: brainstorming in Delhi today to select 60 Congress candidates

Raipur, 17 October: The second list will be discussed in the important Congress meeting in Delhi today (Tuesday). The committee, headed by All India Congress Committee Secretary Venugopal, will decide on the ticket. The meeting will be held at the Congress headquarters, where Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, State Congress President Deepak Baij, Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singhdev, and state in-charge Kumari Shailja will attend. Congress released the list of candidates for 30 seats on October 15. Now brainstorming is going on in Congress for the remaining 60 candidates.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel left for the capital, Delhi, on October 16 for the Delhi Congress meeting. But the chartered plane of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel landed in Lucknow. It is being told that the route was diverted due to bad weather. After which, CM Baghel will leave for Delhi at 10.30 am today. Along with CM Bhupesh Baghel, Congress State President Deepak Baij, Deputy CM TS Singhdev, and Assembly Speaker Charandas Mahant are also present in the plane.
Before leaving for Delhi, Congress State President Baij said, We want that the process of ticket distribution should end soon, so that we too can become free and work for the state and the region. He said that after the meeting in Delhi on Tuesday, the work of issuing tickets will be done by the high command. We will also request the early release of tickets. He said that after the meeting, there is a possibility that the list will come in a day or two.
