There were celebrations everywhere as Congress comfortably crossed the majority mark in the Karnataka Assembly Elections, a high-stakes election for all parties ahead of the 2024 parliamentary polls. The party cruised past 120 seats by noon prompting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to concede defeat, saying his party had not been able to make the mark.
