‘Disturbing’:US President Donald Trump Condemns Pahalgam terror attack

President Donald Trump expressed deep concern over the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and showed solidarity with India. He described this attack as “extremely disturbing” and emphasized standing firmly with India against terrorism.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night, Donald Trump said, “The news coming from Kashmir is extremely disturbing. The United States stands firmly with India in the fight against terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost in this attack and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the wonderful citizens of India have our full support and heartfelt condolences. Our hearts are with you all.”

President Trump’s statement comes at a time when the entire country is stunned by this heinous attack. His support sends the message that India is not alone in the fight against terrorism but is receiving global support.

Earlier today, US Vice President JD Vance also extended his condolences to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
