IPL 2025: RR beats GT by 8 wickets

In the 47th match of IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals triumphed over Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets, chasing down a daunting target of 210 runs at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

Gujarat Titans batted first, posting 209 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs, spearheaded by captain Shubman Gill’s 84 off 50 balls and Jos Buttler’s impressive 50 not out off 26. Sai Sudharsan contributed 39, while Washington Sundar and Rahul Tewatia added 13 and 9 runs, respectively.

In response, Rajasthan’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi, at just 14 years old, delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 101 runs in just 35 balls, supported by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s solid 70 off 40. Their partnership of 166 runs for the first wicket was achieved in 12 overs.

Captain Riyan Parag also added quickly with 32 off 15 balls. For Gujarat, Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan took one wicket each, while Maheesh Theekshana claimed two for Rajasthan.
