The Election Commission has announced the dates of the Lok Sabha election 2019. Elections will be done in seven phases.

Elections will be held for 543 seats of Lok Sabha in seven phases in April and May. Results on May 23

Some highlights point
-The Chief Election Commissioner said that while making the election program, the examination programs and festivals have been kept in mind.

-Over 90 million people will exercise their franchise About 1.5 crore voters will be from 18-19 age group.

  • 11 options have been kept for the identity card.

-10 lakh polling stations will be built, 9 lakh polling stations were built in 2014.

VVPAT will also be used with EVM at every polling station.
