New Delhi: The rapid spread of corona infection in China, Brazil, Japan and America has increased the concern of the government. The government on Tuesday asked all states to lay emphasis on genome sequencing.
An emergency meeting has started on this issue on Wednesday. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya is presiding over it. It is believed that a decision may be taken to issue some strict guidelines in the meeting.
Union Minister of State for Health Dr. Bharti Pawar told that the meeting will discuss the review of the current situation and what steps need to be taken in India. He informed that guidelines have been issued to all the states for genome sequencing of corona so that its new variant can be detected.
