At the Samsung Developer Conference Korea 2024, Samsung unveiled its second generation Gauss 2 generative AI model, a follow-up to its previous Gauss model.
This new AI model is available in three different versions – Compact, Balanced, and Supreme – each designed for a specific purpose. The Compact model, optimized for on-device use, is smaller in size and highly efficient.
The Balanced model finds the perfect balance between performance, speed, and efficiency for consistent results. The Supreme model, powered by “Mixture of Experts” technology, offers maximum performance by utilizing smaller expert models that are specialized in specific tasks.
This approach not only improves efficiency and performance but also keeps the computational cost low. Additionally, Gauss2 supports multiple languages and programming languages, making it versatile for various applications.
