Senior bureaucrat Burra Venkatesham to take charge as new TGPSC Chairman

Hyderabad: State government is set to appoint a new Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Chairman.

The present TGPSC Chairman M Mahender Reddy, who took the charge in January this year, will demit office on December 3 as he completes 62 years.

Senior bureaucrat Burra Venkatesham is expected to take the charge on the same day when Reddy demits office. He is expected to continue as the TGPSC Chairman till 2030.

Venkatesham, who is principal secretary to government (Education department) and principal secretary to governor (FAC), will submit resignation, seeking voluntary retirement from all India services.
