Shrine of Kedarnath Temple Opened Today for Devotees

The Kedarnath shrine, one of Lord Ashutosh’s twelve Jyotirlingas, was opened ceremoniously at 7 a.m. during the auspicious Bhrish Lagna, with around 15,000 devotees chanting pious melodies in Kedarpuri. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the first worship and extended best wishes to the nation on this occasion.

Devotees began arriving as early as 3 a.m., filling the temple complex by 5 a.m. Led by Rawal Bhima Shankar and chief priest Bagesh Ling, a ceremonial canopy was presented at 6:30 a.m.

After completing the rituals, the temple doors opened for darshan of Lord Kedarnath at 8:30 a.m., with dignitaries like District Magistrate Dr. Saurabh Gahrawar present.
