Commissioner VC Sajjanar transfers 65 Task Force personnel amid corruption probe

Hyderabad: Hyderabad  Police Commissioner, VC Sajjanar, transferred 65 personnel working in the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force and attached them to CAR Headquarters.

The department order states that the transfers were made on administrative grounds. The transferred officials are from the sub inspector rank to the constable rank and work in all seven zones of the city in the Commissioner’s Task Force. It is entrusted with the task of preventing organized crimes, detection of important and grave cases, and acting as a riot-control force during disturbances.

During the probe, the names of a few Inspectors working the teams have also surfaced and the inquiries against them are still going on.
