Hyderabad: Taking inspiration from BRS working president, KT Rama Rao’s support for the cause of weavers, Telangana Association of United Kingdom (TAUK) organised ‘Chenetha Bathukamma and Dasara’ celebrations in London.
A large number of Telugu families participated in the top 10 gold coins for best Bathukamma and more prizes for every Bathukamma brought to the event.
On the occasion, TAUK felicitated senior officials including Indian origin British ex-MP Virendra Sharma and his wife Nirmala for 50 years of political service and for contributions in building Indian community stronger in UK.
