Upholding Unity at Kaliyar Sharif: U’khand Waqf Board Chairman Condemns Bangladesh Conspiracy

On Monday, the Muslim community gathered at the world-famous Dargah Sabir Pak of Peeran Kaliyar Sharif in Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttarakhand to offer prayers. This event took place amidst the ongoing atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. The community came together to pray for peace and condemn these heinous acts. The Chairman of Waqf Board, Uttrakhand, Shadab Shams, expressed his concerns about the situation in Bangladesh and demanded strict action from the central government. He stated that this is a conspiracy by ISI and Jamaat-e-Islami to create religious hatred and oppress minorities. Shams reminded everyone of the teachings of Quran that God is with the oppressed and against the oppressors. He also urged the fundamentalists in Bangladesh to fear the repercussions of their actions and to be ready to face punishment from God.

Shams highlighted India’s role as the world’s largest democracy and believers of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. He praised the unity shown by the Muslim community in raising their voice for the Hindus in Bangladesh and stated that this is a strong message to the world. The Uttrakhand Waqf Board Chairman ended by saying that India is in strong hands under Prime Minister Modi and that the country will not tolerate any form of oppression or injustice. The gathering at Dargah Sabir Pak not only showed solidarity with our Hindu brothers and sisters but also demonstrated India’s commitment to justice and equality for all its citizens. This event serves as a reminder for all of us to come together, regardless of our religious differences, to stand against any form of discrimination and violence. It is heartwarming to see such unity and compassion among communities, and it gives hope for a better future where everyone can live in peace and harmony.
