With Dhruv-Tanisha’s Loss in Quarter Finals ends India’s run in Badminton Asia Championship 2025

India’s hopes in the Badminton Asia Championship 2025 were dashed on Friday when the mixed doubles team of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto lost in the quarter-finals.The World No. 18 pair faced the fifth-seeded Hong Kong duo of Tang Chun-man and Tse Ying-soon, losing in 41 minutes with scores of 20-22, 13-21.

Dhruv and Tanisha started strongly, leading 8-0, but the Hong Kong pair fought back to tie at 10-10 and ultimately won the first game after a tight finish at 19-19.

In the second game, after another tie at 9-9, the Hong Kong pair surged ahead with eight consecutive points, sealing India’s exit from the tournament.
