LS polls : 52.60% voter turnout was recorded till 3 pm

Hyderabad : Across 10 states 52.60% voter turnout was recorded till 3 pm said Election Commission of India. West Bengal recorded 66.05 per cent turnout followed by Madhya Pradesh at 59.63 per cent, Jharkhand at 56.42 per cent, Uttar Pradesh at 48.41 per cent and Bihar at 45.23 per cent, respectively.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the voting is being held in Srinagar seat of Kashmir Valley. This is the first Lok Sabha election being held in Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. The Srinagar seat recorded about 29.93 % turnout till 3 pm. In 2019, Srinagar had recorded 14.43 per cent voter turnout.

All 25 seats of Andhra Pradesh and 17 seats of Telangana, 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra, 8 in West Bengal, 8 in Madhya Pradesh, 5 in Bihar, 4 seats each in Jharkhand and Odisha and one seat in Jammu and Kashmir are voting in this phase.
